A single session of up to 90 minutes — combining assessment, Quintic Ball Roll analysis and coaching across both indoor and outdoor settings. Everything Gary needs to build a complete picture of your putting and start making a real difference to it.
Every session begins with an assessment of your current putting mechanics and stroke. Gary evaluates how you set up, how you move through the stroke and what the ball does as a direct result. No assumptions are made — everything is built from what the data shows.
The session combines indoor and outdoor work. Indoor analysis gives Gary precise data using Quintic Ball Roll. Outdoor work on the green translates those findings into real putting situations — so the improvements you make in the session transfer immediately to how you play.
At the end of the session Gary gives you a clear set of priorities and a practice plan to work from. The goal is always the same — a technically better putting stroke that you can repeat under pressure on the course.
"Putting is the most coachable part of golf — and the most neglected. Most players accept their putting as something that just happens. It doesn't have to be that way."
Quintic Ball Roll is used by tour professionals and elite coaches worldwide. It captures both ball and club data simultaneously — meaning Gary can see not just what the ball does, but exactly what the club is doing to cause it. Face angle, path, impact point, ball speed, launch, skid distance and roll quality — all captured and analysed in a single pass.
This level of data makes the coaching precise. Rather than coaching based on what Gary can see with the naked eye, every change is informed by what the numbers actually show. Improvements happen faster and last longer because they're based on evidence, not opinion.
Face angle and path through impact · Ball speed at strike · Launch angle and direction · Skid distance and transition to roll · Roll quality and consistency · Impact point on the face. All measured simultaneously in a single analysis pass.
The session fee covers the full 90 minutes — assessment, Quintic Ball Roll analysis, indoor and outdoor coaching and your personal practice plan. No prior sessions with Gary are needed to book.
Everything included in a single session fee.
Gary's putting session focuses entirely on your technique. However, if the session reveals that your current putter is working against your stroke rather than with it, Gary will advise you honestly. Putter fitting using custom-made Fine-Tuned putters is available as a separate service — the putter is built to complement your stroke, not to change it.
